Positioning The Lab as Belfast’s Pioneer in Sustainability
The Insight: During discovery, we anchored the brand to the founder's unique background as a university microbiologist. This scientific foundation was the perfect vehicle for communicating the brand's meticulous precision and its use of eco-technology, biodegradable chemicals, and sustainable products.
The Positioning: We positioned the business not just as a laundry, but as a “Lab” for clothing care and environmental responsibility.

The Execution

Identity System: We designed a clean, iconic waterdrop logomark that subtly incorporates a leaf shape in the negative space, instantly communicating the eco-friendly focus. The colour palette utilises a Primary Green (#0c5035) and Tan/Gold (#cda65b) to establish a premium, sustainable feel. For typography, we paired the approachable Recoleta typeface for headings with the modern Gilroy typeface for the logo and secondary copy.
Application: We rolled the identity out across an “Omnichannel Clean” experience. This included modern shop window graphics, sustainable packaging, app interface screens, and branded gear for local delivery.
